## Summary

Rocket Lab reported its 96th Electron flight on September 19, its 17th launch of 2026. A separate September 8 product release introduced IMM Apex space solar cells without germanium substrates.

## What changed

- The September 19 mission delivered Synspective's 12th StriX satellite to a 572 km orbit; Rocket Lab listed 15 further dedicated Synspective missions through the end of the decade.
- For IMM Apex, Rocket Lab reports 31.5% beginning-of-life efficiency and 40% lower cell mass, and says the cell avoids conventional germanium substrates.
- These updates supplement the August quarterly-results note. They do not establish a completed Neutron launch or update quarterly revenue and backlog.

## Why it matters

The completed Electron mission adds delivery evidence. The solar-cell change shows how a supplier can reduce exposure to a constrained input; customer adoption and manufacturing economics still need tracking.
